Ju-Whan Kim

Ju-Whan is a doctoral course student in CIDR lab, Dept. of Industrial Design, KAIST.

He has bachelor's and master's degree on Industrial Design.

He studies interaction design which develops the way of interacting with intelligent products and/or systems. He likes implementing early design ideas called reflective prototyping. Prototyping includes physical formation and multi-sensory actions and reactions between people and objects. As a design researcher Ju-Whan investigates on 1) the relationship between prototyping and interaction design quality, 2) enhancing design quality by prototyping, and 3) systematic prototyping support for designers and creative users.
